Cookie Policy

O'Zone runs on a small number of first-party cookies — enough to keep you signed in, protect the site and remember your choices. Our analytics and advertising providers may set first-party or third-party cookies and collect other data; this policy names them, explains their purposes and describes available controls.

Last updated — 9 October 2026

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. They let the site recognise your browser between pages and between visits — that is how you stay signed in, and how the site remembers choices like your language.

A first-party cookie is stored for watchozone.ai; a third-party cookie is stored for another domain. That classification depends on the cookie’s domain, not on whether the company providing the technology is O'Zone or a third party. We and our infrastructure set first-party cookies, and analytics or advertising providers can also set first-party cookies through O'Zone as well as third-party cookies. Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity for analytics, and Google’s advertising products for advertising, are the providers we use or expect to use. The Analytics and Advertising paragraphs below explain their cookies, other data collection and the controls available.

The list below covers the cookies set or controlled by O'Zone and the two set by our infrastructure provider before a request reaches us. Analytics and advertising providers can separately set first-party or third-party cookies. The Analytics and Advertising paragraphs below identify the providers, known cookie names and purposes; providers may change their cookies and publish the current details and controls.

  • ozone_session — keeps your session while you browse, so the site knows your requests come from you. Essential; ends with your session.
  • XSRF-TOKEN — protects forms against cross-site request forgery attacks. Essential.
  • ozone_device — a random device identifier used for per-device rate limiting and abuse protection, so a browser stays identifiable even after session cookies are cleared. Where we serve advertising or operate creator earnings, the same identifier is what lets us tell genuine activity from invalid or artificial traffic, and — for advertising — limit how often you see the same advertisement. It is encrypted and signed to protect it against tampering. Lifetime: five years.
  • remember_web — set only if you tick “remember me” at sign-in, so you stay signed in between visits.
  • apple_oauth_state — set only while you sign in with Apple, to tie Apple’s reply to the browser that started the sign-in. Essential; expires after fifteen minutes.
  • Appearance and language preferences — small cookies written when you choose a theme or a language, so your choice sticks. Lifetime: one year.
  • __cf_bm and _cfuvid — set by our CDN and security provider, not by us, to tell real browsers from bots. O'Zone cannot read them and does not use them to identify you; they are part of what lets a browser reach us at all. Managed by that provider under its own terms.

We group cookies into four categories: Strictly Necessary, Preferences, Analytics, and Advertising.

Strictly Necessary cookies are always on — the site cannot work safely without them. Everything in the list above except the preference cookies falls into this category.

Preferences covers the theme and language cookies listed above. They are written only when you actively pick a theme or language, never in the background, and they do nothing else. Analytics and Advertising cookies may be set by third-party providers when those services are running. This policy explains that processing and the available controls; where applicable law requires consent, we obtain it before the relevant processing begins. Browser and provider controls remain available as described below.

O'Zone uses third-party analytics, and expects to carry third-party advertising, so that we can see how the service is used and fund creator earnings. A third-party provider may set cookies for watchozone.ai, which are first-party cookies, or for another domain, which are third-party cookies. Browser and provider controls apply differently depending on the technology and configuration, as described below.

Analytics. We use third-party analytics and session-replay tools to understand how the service is used and where it fails — Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity are the ones we use or expect to use. Google Analytics commonly sets first-party cookies in the _ga family, while Microsoft Clarity sets first-party _clck and _clsk cookies. Session replay is the more intrusive of the two: it records how you move, click and scroll through a page, and can capture what the page shows, so that we can see where a flow breaks. We configure it to mask text you type and the fields that carry personal data, and we do not use it to work out who you are. Blocking third-party cookies alone does not block these first-party cookies and does not reliably prevent all analytics requests, which can sometimes be sent without cookies. Each provider publishes current cookie information and its available privacy controls.

Advertising. To fund creator earnings we expect to carry advertising supplied through a third-party advertising technology provider — Google’s advertising products are what we expect to use — alongside advertising we sell ourselves. Depending on its configuration, that provider may set first-party and third-party cookies or collect data without cookies to select advertisements, limit how often you see the same one, measure delivery, and personalise what you see across other sites it serves. Its own terms and policies govern what it does with what it collects. Browser settings and the provider’s advertising controls may limit particular uses, but blocking third-party cookies alone does not necessarily stop its first-party cookies or all requests.

Advertising we sell ourselves is measured differently: on our own systems, using the first-party cookies listed above, which is measurement of our own advertising rather than tracking across other websites. If we add a provider or a purpose this policy does not describe, we update this policy first. Where applicable law requires consent, we obtain it before the relevant cookies are set or processing begins.

Every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies in its settings — per site, or entirely. Blocking third-party cookies blocks cookies stored for other domains, but providers can set first-party cookies for watchozone.ai, and cookie settings do not reliably prevent every analytics or advertising request. You can use broader site-data or tracking controls in your browser and the controls each provider makes available; consult the provider’s current information because the effect varies by product and configuration.

If you block or delete strictly necessary cookies, parts of O'Zone will stop working: you will be signed out, forms will fail their security checks, and our abuse protections may treat your browser as new.

We will update this policy whenever our cookie use changes — for example, if a new cookie is introduced or one listed here is retired. The date at the top shows the current version.

We draft and maintain this policy in English as the core reference text, and translate it into Bahasa Malaysia, Tamil and Chinese. All versions are intended to convey the same information. If a translation appears inconsistent with the English reference text, contact us so we can clarify and correct it. No translation limits your statutory rights.

01

Strictly Necessary

Always on

Required for O'Zone to work: signing you in, keeping your session, protecting forms against forgery, and defending the service against abuse. Always on — the site cannot work safely without them. Includes ozone_session, XSRF-TOKEN, ozone_device, the __cf_bm and _cfuvid cookies our CDN and security provider sets, the Apple sign-in state cookie and, if you choose “remember me”, the remember cookie.

02

Preferences

When you choose a preference

Remembers the choices you make, such as your theme and language, so they stick between visits. These cookies are written only when you actively pick a preference — never in the background — and they do nothing else. There is no separate toggle for them: the cookie is simply how your choice is kept, and you can clear it in your browser at any time.

03

Analytics

Provider service · cookie domain varies

Third-party analytics and session-replay providers may set first-party cookies for O'Zone, including Google Analytics _ga cookies and Microsoft Clarity _clck and _clsk cookies. They help us understand use and failures; session replay can capture movement, clicks, scrolling and page content, with typed text and personal-data fields masked. Blocking third-party cookies alone does not stop these first-party cookies or reliably prevent all analytics requests; browser and provider controls vary.

04

Advertising

Provider service · cookie domain varies

A third-party advertising technology provider — we expect to use Google’s advertising products — may set first-party or third-party cookies or collect data without cookies to select advertisements, limit frequency, measure delivery and, depending on the configuration, personalise content across sites. Browser and provider controls may limit particular uses, but blocking third-party cookies alone does not necessarily stop first-party cookies or all requests.

Managing your choices

You can block, delete or clear cookies per site in your browser. Blocking third-party cookies affects cookies for other domains, but providers can set first-party cookies for O'Zone and some requests can be sent without cookies. Use broader browser tracking controls and the controls each provider makes available; their effect varies by product and configuration. Questions: [email protected].
